SOT:  What or whom are some of your influences?

Stephanie:  You know to be honest with you, I really don't have any influences. I love making films. I think no one really inspired me to begin producing my own. I just love doing it.

SOT: You have been in so many movies and TV shows, can you tell us about some of them and how fans can purchase them?

Stephanie:    Well, generally I don't sell anything on my site. However, I will put the production company or the director's email address for fans to contact them directly to buy any videos.  Generally, people go to the video stores, Blockbuster, Hollywood, Suncoast, etc etc to buy the films. Some things are currently running on TV, like HBO'S "Carnivale" or "Shattered
Mind" is currently running on Lifetime Television.  Also, "The Passion Network" is running on TMC, HBO and Cinemax now.   "The Mentalist" is on NBC right now. My two films I produced thru my company, "The Bagman" and "Evil In The Bayou" will be on national TV this coming spring.   The other films for which I just acted in, they can be found in video stores or if all else fails, go to my website and click on the MERCHANDISE page and email the production company for a copy.

SOT: Do you have a favorite movie or TV show that you were in?  Which one and why?

Stephanie:   This is a trick question. :)  Everyone asks me this one.  Let's see...I loved acting in "The Evilmaker".  I loved it because Serena the character was a strong role which had a lot of color behind her. The story was great and John Bowker did an excellant job at directing.  For visual stuff, "Dancing On The Dark Side Of The Moon". That film, the first half of it, "Rose and Alexander" was visually done well. One of the best films I have seen in a long time as far as camera work, storyline.  Its not a horror film but definetly an art film. Beautiful cinematography.

SOT:  When did you decide that you wanted to be a model/Actress, and what helped you make that decision?

Stephanie:   When I moved to California in 1986. I met Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Point Mugu Air Show in Port Hueneme, CA. I was 14.  It seemed like I took an interest in movies and I saw all the attention.  I started acting in High School and I actually enjoyed it.  So after school, after I graduated, I went on to take professional classes and in 1995, I landed my first role, "Unnaturally Born Killer".  Before that, I did some Calander modeling, and some music videos.

SOT:  What are some of the current projects that you are working on?

Stephanie:    Right now, I am editing my third film thru my production company, "Tales From The Grave".  I hope to see it done and ready for distribution by February 2004. No later.   I am getting ready to act in a film in January 2004, "Beast", directed by Gary Levinson, who made, "Hellroller".   I am also doing all the special effects in the film.  Later on in January/February, I am acting in and producing, "Chainsaw Charlie", from Plutonium Films.   This film is directed by Daryl Carstensen.  Ross Marshall is the Executive Producer.   I will also be doing special effects for the films as well.   Later on in the year, "Hollywood Underground" will be filmed.  We are shooting for 35mm on this one so keep your fingers crossed.   This is completely different from the others. Its a straight comedy feature.

SOT:  What is your favorite horror movie?  Book?

Stephanie:   I hate this question as I have so many fav's to speak of for horror films.  My God.  I love "Halloween", "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", "Friday the 13th",  "Polterqueist".  "Rosemary's Baby".  There is so many.   I can't think of just one you know.

SOT:  Could you tell our readers where they should go to get your movies, posters, pictures and other related items?

Stephanie:   You could just go to my website at: http://www.stephaniebeaton.com    and click on my FAN CLUB and then go from there. You'll find pictures, both color and B&W,  you can email the director's or distribution companies directly and order. OR come to one of my upcoming convention shows and meet me in person and get the copy of the videos or pictures there.  Just keep checking back to my LATEST NEWS page on my website and thats where you'll find everything that is happening next!

SOT:  I think that we should also tell the readers what home pages and
groups you have on the internet so that they can learn more about you and keep up to date on your projects and appearances.

Stephanie:   I just have my website, http://www.stephaniebeaton.com
I am not big on groups or chat rooms. I used to chat with my fans on specific nights thru my website, but I don't do that anymore.  I just don't have time.  But I am not a believer in message boards or groups. I can think of SO many other things to be doing besides posting messages.

SOT:  What's a day in the life of a horror film starlet like?

Stephanie:    Probably, pretty boring. I do a lot of writing so I don't have TOO much time.  I try to keep busy working a lot. When I am not working I like to travel and I like to go out and have a drink. Nothing fancy. Actually your best place to find me would be a little hole in the wall joint.  I like all types of music from Techno, to blues, to rock and roll to alternative and Jazz.  I love seeing plays and getting all dolled up as well and wined and dined.  BUT generally I am busy working so sometimes getting out is a little tough.

SOT:  You are a very beautiful woman, how do you feel about being a "sex symbol?"

Stephanie:    I don't see myself as one to be honest with you.  I don't think of myself any different then the next guy or girl.

SOT:  Who are some of the other starlets that you have worked with and do you have a favorite?

Stephanie:     I don't think I have ever worked in another film with any other scream queens.   I think I have always been the only one in the films that have been considered a scream queen in.  However, I have worked with "A"  list actors like,  I loved working with Heather Locklear, in "Shattered Mind".  She was fantastic.  I know this guy is not a starlet but Joe Estevez was wonderful to work with in "Tales From The Grave". He stars in one of the shorts, Hercaylac.

SOT: What do you feel is your sexiest body part? Why?

Stephanie:   I like my hips and my eyes. I love the way your hips curve into your uper thigh area and I love the color of my eyes, grey. Plus they are very intense.

SOT:  Are you married?  Single?  Dating?

Stephanie:   Wouldn't the world like to know this one.  I am not married.  Am I single?????     Well, I am going to let the world wonder!

SOT:  What has been the highest point of your career so far?

Stephanie:   I think the highest point was the premier of "The Bagman". Having the cast and crew brought to the premier in 3 hearses and having everyone dressedup in suits, tux's, evening gowns, and having 300 people standing before taking pictures as you stepped out.  That had to be the most thrilling part of it all.

SOT:  Where do you see yourself in the future?

Stephanie:   I hope to be very successful in my filmmaking. I hope to be able to produce 3 to 5 films per year and establish a name in the indie scene for Silver Moon Productions and I want to take my company to a higher level and produce 35mm films. That is the goal.  Not to stay in digital forever. I love digital but film is truly the way to go.

SOT:  What do you like to do to relax?  Any hobbies?

Stephanie:    I like to do absolutly nothing.  My life is so stressful and busy that I just like to do nothing.

SOT:  On the same note, you have so much talent, you act, model, write, direct and produce!  How do you even find the time to relax?

Stephanie:   I don't.  When I have nothing to do, its's time to worry. I am a very hyper person who loves working on something at all times. I don't really want to relax right now. Right now, I want to get things off the ground, then take a well needed vacation.  I think I want to go to the Carribean when I do.  Maybe in 2004 I can finally do that.

SOT:  What do I have to do to get an autographed picture of you for my office wall here at Screams of Terror?

Stephanie:   Get down on your knees stark naked!  Just Kidding!!!  I can send ya a picture, just give me your address baby!

SOT:  I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy
schedule to talk to me, it has been a real pleasure and an honor, is there anything else that you would like to add or say to your fans and the readers here at Screams of Terror?

Stephanie:    No I don't think there is anything else. Just keep checking my site for where I will be next. I hope to go more east coast for conventions.  Those are ALWAYS the best.  Great people on the east coast and I always have a lot of fun hanging out, having a few drinks with my fans.  So I hope to travel back east soon.   Oh, you can write to me two ways, Snail mail at:
